Bedroom fire displaces six in Chester
A small house fire Thursday on College Street in Chester displaced five adults and one child, according to Chester Fire Department.
The American Red Cross is providing financial assistance to the family, according to a statement.
Chester Fire Chief Paul Caldwell said the fire was contained to a bedroom and is under investigation.
The power to the house was cut off, Caldwell said. There were no injuries.
