SC students share Christmas joy through music

Students from the South Carolina School for the Deaf and the Blind performed Christmas songs for the Lions Club of River Hills Tuesday at the River Hills Country Club in Lake Wylie, where Father Christmas delivered gifts to the children.

The Lions Club presented the school, located in Spartanburg, with a check for $5,000.

"Because of people like you, we are making their dreams come true," the school foundation's CEO Ann Ackerman said to a crowd of Lions Club members. "Thank you for being their champion."
