Oakland Ave. in downtown Rock Hill temporarily closed for work at church

Oakland Avenue in downtown Rock Hill between Main Street and White Street will be closed Monday morning as crews install a heating and air unit at a church, police said.

A crane is expected to be blocking the 200 block of Oakland until at least 10 a.m., police said.

The crane is lifting the unit onto the roof of a church on the block.

Traffic is being re-routed to other streets around the site until the HVAC unit is installed.
