Christmas tradition continues in York County with ‘Nutcracker’

A decades-long Christmas tradition in Rock Hill will return Thursday with the York County Ballet’s “The Nutcracker.”

The ballet will be 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14 through Saturday, Dec. 16 at Johnson Hall Theatre at Winthrop University. The ballet will perform matinee shows at 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 17.

Online tickets are sold out, but tickets are available at Woody’s Music, 1118 Cherry Road and Nationwide Wiley Insurance, 1729 Celanese Road until Friday. Tickets are also available at the theater. General admission tickets are $15.
