Manufacturer investing $5.7M, more than doubling its workforce in Lancaster County

A manufacturer of steel bumpers and accessories for truck and jeep markets is planning to expand its Lancaster County operations.

Fab Fours Inc. says it will invest $5.7 million in capital investment to potentially create 88 new jobs.

The facility at 2213 Industrial Park Road in Lancaster will undergo a large-scale expansion of new equipment to continue its product development. Hiring for the new positions is under way, according to the company.

Fab Fours Inc. CEO Greg Higgs said the expansion will allow for more efficiency within the factory. Lancaster County Council Chairman Steve Harper said manufacturing is the “backbone of the county’s economy.”

“Fab Fours makes some of the coolest aftermarket parts in America and is one of Lancaster County's premier manufacturers,” said Jamie Gilbert, Lancaster County Economic Development director. “With the holiday season upon us, their expansion is truly a gift to the community and a great example of how the county’s skilled workforce and friendly business climate makes us an excellent choice for manufacturers.”

The county economic development team said the facility will employ more than 160 workers at full expansion.
