Tornado warning issued for York, Chester counties
The National Weather Service has issued a thunderstorm warning for York and Chester counties until 6:30 p.m. Monday.
Shortly after 6 p.m., weather service radar spotted a severe thunderstorm “capable of producing a tornado” near Lowrys, about six miles north of Chester, moving east at 45 mph.
The storm is on a track toward southern York County.
