One dead in one-car crash in Lancaster County
One person died in a one-car crash off Pageland Highway east of Lancaster Sunday.
Around 5:09 p.m., a 60-year-old woman from Lancaster driving a 2003 Honda ran off the road and hit a fence and a tree, South Carolina Highway Patrol Trooper Joe Hovis said.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, Hovis said.
The Lancaster County Coroner’s Office has not yet released the identity of the woman.
