3 displaced, including 1 child, in ‘extensive’ Rock Hill house fire
Three people were displaced, including a child, after an “extensive” fire at a Rock Hill home Sunday, officials said.
The fire at 531 Devore Place happened around 4:10 p.m. Sunday, said Mark Simmons, deputy chief of the Rock Hill Fire Department.
No one was injured, Simmons said.
However, there was smoke and heat damage to the entire home and extensive damage to a bedroom and attic. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, Simmons said.
The American Red Cross is assisting the family.
