Motorcycle rider killed in Rock Hill collision has been identified
The rider of a motorcycle who was killed in a traffic collision Saturday has been identified.
The York County Coroner's Office on Sunday identified the rider as Felicia Mollohan, 52, of Pineville, N.C.
Mollohan was killed Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision on S.C. 5 in Rock Hill, according to the state Highway Patrol.
She was riding a Harley Davidson when she collided with a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe around 2:30 p.m. The Tahoe’s driver, who is from Columbia, was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured, according to the Highway Patrol.
The Highway Patrol reported that the motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet and was thrown from the motorcycle. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident remains under investigation.
