Here are the three York County candidates for county manager, and how to meet them.

Board of Voter Registration and Elections

York County is down to its final three candidates for the next county manager.

The county issued a release Wednesday morning naming the finalists. Current interim manager David Hudspeth joins Cumberland County, N.C., assistant county manager Melissa Cardinali, and former Horry County administrator Chris Eldridge.

The county also scheduled a public meet-and-greet for all three finalists Feb. 11. It will be held 5-6 p.m. at the York County Government Center in York.

Former county manager Bill Shanahan announced last summer he’d leave the position. His last day was June 28. The county appointed Hudspeth who at the time was serving as planning and community services director with the county.
