Lancaster police, first responders show thanks at hospital
Lancaster police and sheriff’s officers and members of the fire department made a surprise visit to the emergency room earlier this week.
Officers from the Lancaster Police Department, the Lancaster Fire Department and the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office flashed cruiser lights and clapped as members of the ER staff at MUSC Health-Lancaster made their way into the building.
“We are working hard during the COVID-19 pandemic, but they are on the front lines dealing with those affected by the disease,” stated a post on the Lancaster Police Department’s Facebook page. “To all of the doctors, nurses and other medical personnel, we are grateful for all that you do.”
