Chester, Lancaster forecast for 100 Tuesday, Rock Hill to hit 99
Brutal summer-like heat a week before the official start of summer has arrived, with temperatures expected to reach 100 degrees Tuesday in Chester and Lancaster.
The National Weather Service is forecasting 100 degrees in Chester and Lancaster counties Tuesday, with Accuweather and the Weather Chanel showing a forecast of 99 degrees for those two counties.
Rock Hill is forecast for 98 degrees by the weather service Tuesday, but both the Weather Channel and Accuweather are showing 99.
The century mark would be the first time for 2015.
Temperatures after Tuesday will drop slightly.
