So cute! Watch this 2-year-old find his Christmas tree at a York County SC farm.
When two-year-old Brock Hovis of Clover went with his parents, Danny and Erica Hovis, to Penland Tree Farm in York County, S.C., he wasn’t worried at all about what tree he would choose.
He didn’t worry about the height, width or fullness of the Christmas tree that would stand in his play space. He seemed more focused on how many sticks he could pick up and jab at the air like a sword.
Brock was among hundreds of people who showed up at Penland the weekend after Thanksgiving to choose and cut down their own trees.
The farm has eight varieties of trees to choose from, and all grow on the farm, except for the Frazer Fir, which is shipped to the farm from the North Carolina mountains.
Visitors can take a hayride around the farm and roast marshmallows at a fire pit.
The farm is open seven days a week. The hours are 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 1 p.m.-5:30 p.m. Sunday. Visit penlandchristmastreefarm.com for details.
