For people who wonder what it would be like to win Powerball, it’s hard to imagine leaving the money on the table.

According to the South Carolina Education Lottery, a $100,000 winning ticket sold in Fort Mill will expire soon if someone doesn’t claim the prize. The Powerball ticket for the March 23 drawing was sold at the Country Store at 1800 Gold Hill Road.

Two $50,000 winners from that same contest remain unclaimed. They were sold on Beech Island and at Murrells Inlet. All three tickets will expire Sept. 19.

Lottery officials ask anyone who played in those areas to check their tickets. Winning numbers were 6, 23, 25, 34, 51 and Powerball 3. The PowerPlay multiplier was 2 and the DoublePlay drawing results were 18, 24, 43, 46, 47 and Powerball 11.

Winners have to claim prizes in-person at the Columbia Claims Center before 4 p.m. on Sept. 19, or an envelope can be postmarked by that date. Unclaimed winnings are deposited into an account to support education programs in South Carolina.
