Sen. Lindsey Graham hosting Rock Hill meet-and-greet campaign lunch on Wednesday
U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina has added his name to the list of Republican presidential hopefuls stumping in Rock Hill this month.
Graham plans to have lunch at the Mayflower Seafood restaurant at noon Wednesday. The Mayflower is located at 2124 Celanese Road.
Organizers say Graham will discuss his campaign and national issues.
He is the fourth presidential hopeful to schedule a stop in York County this month. Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush plans to speak at Winthrop University on Aug. 18.
Republican presidential hopefuls Rand Paul and Scott Walker were recently in town. Wisconsin Gov. Walker held an event at the American Legion on Sunday. Paul, the U.S. senator from Kentucky, appeared in Rock Hill last Friday.
They are all in a crowded pool of 17 candidates hoping to get the Republican Party’s presidential nomination next year.
Graham’s event Wednesday is open to the public. Organizers say seating is limited, so attendees must RSVP. Visit eventbrite.com and search for “Lunch with Senator Lindsey Graham” for more information and to reserve a seat.
