Rock Hill fire displaces 1; none injured
A fire that started in a clothes dryer displaced one person from home in Rock Hill Sunday evening, fire officials said.
The fire at 723 Douglas St., in the South-Central neighborhood south of downtown, was contained to the kitchen area, but caused about $8,000 in damage, said Deputy Chief Mark Simmons of the Rock Hill Fire Department.
No one was hurt, Simmons said.
