Three popular outdoor festivals are in the plans for York County this weekend: Tawba Fest at Rock Hill’s Riverwalk, Fiddle ‘n Pig Shindig in Fort Mill, and the Butts and Bluegrass BBQ Festival in Clover.

Tawba Fest – named for the Catawba River – will be 2 to 10 p.m. Saturday at Riverwalk, off Cherry Road near Interstate 77.

This is the second year for the festival that includes free outdoor activities such as a “Spartan Workout,” mountain biking, disc golf and cycling activities. Tawba Fest also hosts local artists and vendors, food trucks and craft beer – all set up along the banks of the Catawba River.

Free parking and a free shuttle service will be available. Dogs on leashes are allowed.
