Chester barbecue, with thanks to those who serve

Two Chester funeral homes – Barron and Dantzler-Baker – held a barbecue lunch for Chester County law enforcement, EMS, firefighters and other first responders Wednesday at Chester State Park. Organizers said the lunch served as both a 9/11 remembrance event and sign of appreciation for their guests’ service to the community. This is the fifth year for the event.
