The lights around downtown Rock Hill’s Fountain Park are pink this weekend in honor of breast cancer awareness month.

City officials said the fountain area will be pink for the first few days of October.

“We also have pink bows on the garbage trucks,” said Rock Hill spokeswoman Katie Quinn.

Breast Cancer Awareness month is held each October as an annual campaign that aims to increase knowledge and awareness of the disease.
