Community baptism planned at Rock Hill Aquatics Center
Christian groups that assist the poor and homeless are sponsoring a community baptism for the needy Sunday, Nov. 8, at 5 p.m. at the handicapped-accessible pool at the Rock Hill Aquatics Center, 325 Rawlinson Road.
Emmanuel Church of the Nazarene rented the pool to try and give people who may not have a home church or any place of worship a place to get baptized, said Jonathan Pannell, senior pastor.
Several churches are working together and are coordinating with the Renew Our Community center and Christians Feed the Hungry ministries.
The event is open to anyone in the community of any denomination who wants to attend. For information call 803-328-2134 or email jonathan@emmanuelnazarene.org.
