Saluda Trail Middle celebrates veterans +VIDEO
Rock Hill's Saluda Trail Middle School's annual Veteran's Commemoration event featured special displays, speakers and performances to teach students about military veterans and those on active duty.
Guest speakers included Robert Ryals of Fort Mill, who was dressed as a Revolutionary War South Carolina militia member. Ryals taught students about militia training in 1780.
Also, U. S. Army Vietnam veteran Ken Hood talked about his experiences in Vietnam as a member of the 173rd Airborne.
