No children injured in Rock Hill school bus crash Thursday morning
A school bus enroute to Independence Elementary School in Rock Hill early Thursday morning was involved in a crash and no children were injured, district officials say.
The driver of the other car was taken by ambulance to a hospital with minor injuries, likely attributable to the driver’s airbag deploying, said Rock Hill School District Three spokesman Mychal Frost.
The wreck happened at the intersection of Lesslie Highway and Springdale Road, near Rock Hill High School and Independence Elementary, around 7:30 a.m., Frost said. Nine children were on the bus.
