Presidential candidate Santorum cancels Saturday York appearance
An announced visit by Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum was canceled early Saturday morning because of an airplane delay.
Santorum’s staff called Sandey’s at the White House restaurant where he was scheduled to meet supporters at 8 a.m. Saturday. He is expected to visit again in January, restaurant workers said they were told.
Santorum, a former U.S. senator from Pennsylvania, is at or near the bottom of most polls among the Republican candidates.
