Video: Sheriff Alex ‘Big A’ Underwood does ‘Nae Nae’ in Chester Christmas parade
“Big A” can “Nae Nae.”
In front of all of Chester.
Kind of.
During Chester’s annual Christmas parade Friday afternoon, Chester County Sheriff Alex “Big A” Underwood did the wildly popular “Nae Nae” dance – along with many of his deputies and the crowd that joined in.
Underwood admits that he’s a lot better at catching crooks than dancing.

But Underwood walks with his wife, a magistrate judge, and his deputies in every Chester parade to show community fellowship and togetherness. The dance just popped up – and Big A was popping.
So did Chris Reynolds, a detective, and Lt. Johnny Neal, and others. They all just danced right down the street as kids and ladies and people in the crowd joined in.
Underwood, who became a national figure for bringing a Pennsylvania boy to Chester to hunt, said that the more the public knows that the police are just like them, the community will help officers make Chester safer and better for all.
Even for a downtown public “Nae Nae.”
