Chester animal shelter to hold adoption open house, pet Angel Tree

The Chester County Animal Shelter will hold a holiday adoption open house on Wednesday from 1 to 7 p.m.

Staffers will be on hand to assist people interested in adopting the cats and dogs. Light refreshments will be served.

The shelter has an Angel Tree for people to donate to care for shelter animals. A second Angel Tree is located at Tractor Supply in Chester.

The shelter, operated by the animal control division of the Chester County Sheriffs Office, is located at 2714 Dawson Drive, Chester and is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For information call 803-385-6341, ext. 1.
