While many people were still furiously shopping and checking their lists before Christmas, several families from Oakland Avenue Presbyterian Church in Rock Hill spent their rainy Wednesday morning sorting food for the Project Hope food bank.

“This is the food drive season, and we’ve had hundreds of pounds come in,” said volunteer Charlie McDow.

After the donations are sorted, food items will be distributed through Hope House.
