York pedestrian killed in hit and run Christmas night
Police in York are seeking a hit-and-run driver after a man walking was struck and killed Christmas night.
Anthony Shannon, 47, of York was walking along Railroad Avenue in York when he was struck, said Lt. Rich Caddell of the York Police Department. The driver then fled.
The York County Coroner's Office has not released the man's name.
The S.C. Highway patrol reconstruction team assisted York officers at the crime scene and both local and state agents are seeking the driver.
