Where to get free tickets for Donald Trump’s Rock Hill event
Donald Trump is visiting Rock Hill on Friday, and tickets are still available.
A spokesman for the Republican presidential candidate confirmed tickets for the 6,100-seat Winthrop Coliseum are still available as of Wednesday, although the campaign wouldn’t release how many. Tickets are free on the campaign’s Eventbrite page at bit.ly/1UeuDMt.
This will be Trump’s first visit to Rock Hill since he shot to the top of the polls for the GOP’s 2016 presidential nomination. The New York real estate mogul and reality TV star has been the top Republican in national polls for months. In South Carolina, Trump had a 9-point lead among GOP voters in the latest Winthrop Poll.
Eight of the 13 remaining GOP candidates have already campaigned in the Rock Hill area in 2015, many of them choosing Winthrop University as their preferred venue while in town.
On Nov. 6, Winthrop also hosted a nationally televised forum with all three of the Democratic presidential candidates.
Doors for the Trump event will open at 5 p.m.
