Four displaced by Rock Hill home fire that causes $75K in damage
Three people and a dog escaped from a Friendship Drive residence in Rock Hill Saturday after a fire broke out that gutted the inside of the home, Rock Hill fire officials said.
Three people were transported to Piedmont Medical Center with minor injuries after the fire was reported to the Rock Hill Fire Department at 9:16 a.m., officials said.
Four people who were living in the two-story home were displaced and are being assisted by the American Red Cross, fire officials said.
The cause of the fire was not known and is being investigated, officials said.
Fire officials say the occupants had gotten out of the home by the time fire officials arrived.
No information was available on where the fire started.
The home is owned by Maggie Mack and Margaret Feaster, fire officials said.
Damage to the home was estimated at $75,000.
