St. Patrick’s Day on Main Festival paints Rock Hill green

St. Patrick’s Day festivities in York County kicked off Thursday with the 8th annual St. Patrick’s Day on Main Festival in Rock Hill. Live Irish/Celtic music from a folk band, Irish dancers from two schools and more than 25 vendors took part in the event.

More events are in store this week.

In Clover, the 18th annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival will be from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday on Main Street.

And in Fort Mill, the 10th annual Baxter Village Spring Fling Festival and St. Patrick’s Parade will be from 2-6 p.m. Saturday on Market Street.
