Come-See-Me – Rock Hill’s annual 10-day homage to spring – gets under way Thursday.

As always, the big event of opening day is the Come-See-Me Parade at 6:30 p.m., with the Tailgate Party and Fireworks Extravaganza closing out the festival on April 23.

Come-See-Me is the largest volunteer-run event in the Southeast.

This year’s festival boasts a newly redesigned website – ComeSeeMe.org – and a new Snapchat account – csmfestival – to add to its Facebook and Instagram presence.

Also new this year is a program called Glen’s Tadpoles, a children’s membership for ages 12 and younger, which includes goodies such as a lanyard and a special T-shirt.

Two events – the Cornhole Throwdown and Broadway Night – have been moved to the first weekend of the festival. The Cornhole Throwdown has a new location, at the Elk’s Lodge, 344 E. Main St., Rock Hill.
