Music by moonlight at Come-See-Me

Rainy weather Friday morning and afternoon gave way to clearing skies Friday evening, just in time for the Come-See-Me Festival’s Moonlight Jazz & Blues at Winthrop Lake. It was an evening for families and friends to enjoy a picnic while listening to the jazz and bluegrass of Brad Bailey and the bluesy vibes of Mike Faulkenberry and the Whiskey Profits.

Saturday’s highlights at Come-See-Me

▪  Canaan Island Adventure Day, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

▪  Everything Trucks!, 9 a.m.-noon

▪  Catawba River Rod Run, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

▪  Annual Plant Sale, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

▪  Make a Bed & Make a Difference Bed Race, 10 a.m.

▪  Street Magic with Steve Trash, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

▪  Historic White Home & Garden Tour, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

▪  Student Choreography Showcase, 2 p.m. & 8 p.m.

▪  Battle at the Rock, 3 p.m.

▪  Tailgate Party, 3-10 p.m.

▪  Barbecue sales at Tailgate party, 3 p.m.-until BBQ runs out

▪  Skydiving Exhibition, 6:45 p.m.

▪  Fireworks Extravaganza, 9 p.m.
