Portion of I-77 in Rock Hill reopens after afternoon repairs
A portion of a northbound lane on Interstate 77 is back open.
Crews with the S.C. Department of Transportation made emergency bridge deck repair on one northbound lane of I-77, officials said Friday. The bridge at Exit 75 crosses Porter Road.
Later in the month, SCDOT crews will plan to make a permanent repair to the bridge.
Motorists are urged to use caution in this area of I-77 and can follow updates using the Department of Transportation’s 511 Traveler system: 511sc.org, Facebook and Twitter: @SCDOTPRESS.
