Carowinds’ new app shows ride wait times, interactive park map
Carowinds launched a new mobile app Tuesday that will allow users to view up-to-date ride wait times and an interactive map of the park.
The app is meant to speed up and simplify all aspects of the experience at Carowinds.
“Carowinds’ mobile app is designed to make a day at the park even more enjoyable by offering exciting new enhancements that deliver a personalized and interactive experience,” the park said in a news release.
Customers using the app will be also able to purchase tickets, “Fast Lane” passes and meal plans, mark and remember their parking spots, view attraction and event information, and receive special offers and discounts.
The Fort Mill amusement park also announced that free, high-speed Wi-Fi is now available throughout the park.

Carowinds’ new app is available for iPhone and Android devices and can be downloaded for free from the iTunes or Google Play app stores.
