Ben Watson delivers ‘baskets of hope’ to Rock Hill families
Baltimore Ravens Tight End Benjamin Watson – a Northwestern High School graduate – delivered gift baskets to pediatric patients and their families at Piedmont Medical Center on Monday.
Watson brought along younger brother Asa Watson, a Rock Hill High grad who also played in the NFL, as part of the national “Super Baskets of Hope” program, which provides children and families comfort and support as they deal with medical challenges.
In addition to gift baskets for the children, the brothers also gave tote bags to parents and spent time with each family in hopes of bringing some cheer to their day.
