Moped driver killed in crash in York

The driver of a moped was killed Saturday afternoon after a wreck near York Comprehensive High School.

The accident occurred on S.C. Hwy. 5 near Lincoln Road, but authorities had not released details of the wreck late Saturday evening.

York County Deputy Chief Coroner Chris Westover will release information on the victim after the family has been notified, officials said.
