Chester County sheriff’s camp shows off tricks of the trade
The annual Sheriff’s Camp is held every summer at the Chester County Sheriff’s Office. The three-week camp for students ages 10-14 is conducted in a military style.
The goal of the camp is to promote good citizenship through education and law enforcement. Cadets participate in physical training each day. Each division of the sheriff’s office gives instruction and equipment demonstrations, an cadets learn swimming, physical agility standards and First Aid skills.
On Thursday, the cadets learned about the K-9 unit.
