A portion of Turkey Farm Road in Rock Hill will be closed for several hours Thursday for filming of “Outcast.”

A small portion near the 6200 block of Turkey Farm Road will be closed from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., according to the York County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies will have detour signs posted at Parris Road and State Road 536.

“Outcast” is being produced for Cinemax by Fox International Channels. The show follows a young man, Kyle Barnes, who is plagued with demonic possession all of his life and finds help in a pastor with his own personal demons.

The show has been filming in parts of York and Chester counties.

Outcast is a television show scheduled to air on Cinemax next spring. The show is filming in Rock Hill and the surrounding area. A producer spoke with a group of community leaders Friday to give a run down of the show's local impact.
