Christmas season arrives in Rock Hill

Thousands gathered in downtown Rock Hill Friday evening to see elves, dancers, bands and floats at the annual Christmas parade.

The parade was part of ChristmasVille — a four-day festival that turns downtown Rock Hill into a “holiday village” and arts scene.

Santa arrived Thursday evening with a performance by the Rock Hill Rockettes. The festival continued Saturday and Sunday with live entertainment, the Old Town Holiday Market, activities for children and the Founders Holiday Ice Rink.

The ice rink continues through Jan. 20. Visit onlyinrockhill.com for details.
