Enjoy holiday lights all over the Rock Hill region with The Herald’s virtual tour

The Herald coverage area isn’t short on Christmas light displays. Readers sent in their top picks, a list that covers homes and neighborhoods across York, Lancaster and Chester counties.

Festive displays range from Harper Davis Road in Lake Wylie to Stonecrest Boulevard in Tega Cay, downtown Chester to outskirt Rock Hill. York and Fort Mill stops make the list. Rock Hill is well-represented, from Stafford Park to numerous homes in holiday decor.

Displays include swaying Santas, flickering lights, dozens of blow-up characters, lighted trees, a light pole made into a snow globe and vintage manger scenes, just to name a few.

There are two ways you can enjoy the lights. You drive around yourself, or enjoy a virtual tour put together by Herald videographer Tracy Kimball. Go to heraldonline.com to see Kimball’s video work.

Also, send suggestions of more spots that light up the area this time of year to assignmentdesk@heraldonline.com.
