If you or a loved one are unable to prepare meals for Christmas this year, we’ve got you covered. While many food drives and toy drives have wrapped up for the season, some organizations in Rock Hill, Clover and Lancaster are offering free meals on either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. Here’s a list of where to go.

Rock Hill Community Fridge

On Christmas Eve, holiday meal boxes including rolls, ham, green beans and mashed potatoes will be handed out by the Rock Hill Community Fridge. Anyone who needs one can pick one up at the Mercantile at 130 W. White St. in Rock Hill, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Dorothy Day Soup Kitchen

The Dorothy Day Soup Kitchen, at 902 Crawford Road in Rock Hill, will serve Christmas Eve from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. There will only be dine-in service.

Clover Open-Air Flea Market

The Clover Open Air Flea Market will be serve Christmas dinner (turkey or ham) at noon Christmas Day. They will serve to-go plates only, to as many families as possible. “The more the better,” says owner David Bowles. If you want a meal, pull up to the market, wait inside your car, and a volunteer will come to take your order. The market is at 406 Kings Mountain St., Clover. Locals are encouraged to drop off any cooked meals or desserts by the end of the day.
