Rock Hill Herald Football Players of the Week
Daquan Evans, Lewisville Football: The 5-foot-9, 185 freshman middle linebacker had 10
tackles, including three tackles for loss and a sack in a 40-0 win at Ridge Spring Monetta, Sept.
16.
Evans’ efforts helped Lewisville stay perfect at 5-0 this season.
Debo Hall, York Football: The 5-foot-11, 185-pound junior wide receiver/free safety had two
catches for 95 yards in a 42-14 win over Rock Hill, Sept. 16.
Hall also had six tackles and two interceptions in the victory.
Tyler Jones, Catawba Ridge Football: The 5-foot-11, 225-pound senior rushed for 197 yards
and two touchdowns on 23 carries to lead Catawba Ridge to a 45-27 win over Chester, Sept. 16.
Jones has rushed for 609 yards and six touchdowns on 103 carries for Catawba Ridge (5-0) this
season.
Jones has three, 100-plus yard games this season.
