ChristmasVille opens in Rock Hill with high kicks, peppermint sticks and of course, Santa
Before the show started Thursday night, kids in festive clothing handed out candy canes to toddlers and pre-schoolers.
Then, the Rock Hill RockHettes performed high kicks and twirls to holiday music at the kick-off ceremony of ChristmasVille — Rock Hill’s four-day Christmas festival that ends Sunday.
A kids drama troupe from Showtime Theatre Company performed “All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth” before Santa made his appearance. Parents pointed to the stage and exclaimed “there’s Santa!” while little tots giggled and clapped.
ChristmasVille continues Friday with downtown events, including the Rock Hill Christmas parade, a gingerbread house decorating contest, trolley rides and more.
