Downtown Fort Mill will be without power overnight, as Duke Energy plans an outage that will impact 1,300 customers.
The outage will run from midnight to 5 a.m. on Thursday, the town said Wednesday on its Facebook page. Duke Energy needs to replace a transmission conductor, according to the town.
The outage will impact Main Street and the downtown corridor. The outage map runs north along North White Street and Old Nation Road to near Anne Springs Close Greenway. The outage will impact much of the historic Whiteville Park neighborhood. Affected customers were notified by Duke Energy, the town said.
