Clover High School Spring Fling and Beach Bash will be 11 a.m.-5 p.m. June 4 at the school. The event features local vendors, live entertainment, carnival games, inflatables, cornhole and a canjam tournament.
Food truck vendors include Spoon’s Barbecue, Vito’s Pizza, Two Chicks and a Truck, Smax Flatbread Grill and Pelican’s Snoballs. Free admission.

▪ Camp High Hopes and Publix will sponsor a Memorial Day picnic, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday for residents of Pilgrims’ Inn.
▪ Friendship United Methodist Church will host a car Show and Shine with the Rock Hill Cruisers and beach music concert featuring Scott Carroll and Surfside, 6-9 p.m. Friday at the church, 1200 Neely Store Road. Bring a lawn chair. Donations only to enter the car show. Hot dogs, hamburgs and drinks available for purchase. Awards at 8:30 p.m.
▪ Master’s Car Club 14th annual car show will be June 4 at Burns Chevrolet Cadillac, 2515 Cherry Road, Rock Hill. Gates open at 9 a.m. with registration until noon; awards at 3 p.m. Live entertainment by Just Pryor. Free hot dogs, drinks and door prizes. Registration is $20 the day of the show. ▪ Historic Brattonsville will be open to the public to honor all United States veterans on Memorial Day. The celebration, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday, includes historical interpreters presenting 18th-century cooking and domestic arts demonstrations. Games will be played on the lawn, picnic baskets are welcome, and the 800-acre plantation with interpretive battlefield trail will be open for exploration. As a participant in the Blue Star Museum program, the site offers free admission May 30-Sept. 5 for all active duty, National Guard and Reserve military personnel and their families. General admission: adults, $8; seniors, $7, ages 4-17, $5; free for CHM members and ages 3 and younger. All other Culture and Heritage Museum sites are closed May 30. ▪ The Anne Springs Close Greenway summer concert series begins it fourth year with a concert featuring Southern Experience, 6:30 p.m. June 2 in the Comporium Amphitheater.
