Wesleyan men host hot dog lunch

The Wesleyan Men’s Group of Clover Wesleyan Church at South Main and Parkview streets will have a hot dog sale from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 25. To order by phone, call 803-675-8032.

Kings Mountain church yard sale

Kings Mountain Chapel United Methodist Church, Philbeck Road, York, will host a large yard sale from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 25.

Everyone is invited to participate. Cost is $5 for a 12-by-12-foot space.

A bake sale will be in the church social hall. Sausage biscuits and coffee will be sold for breakfast and hot dogs and drinks will be sold for lunch.

Proceeds go to mission projects of the church’s United Methodist Women. Those who want a yard sale space should set up beginning at 6:30 a.m. April 25.

Methodist youths package shoes

Youths with the York-Clover United Methodist Church Cluster collected and packaged 3,500 pairs of shoes for Shoes4Water on March 22 at Trinity United Methodist Church, York.

Speakers were the Rev. Steve Bell with Shoes4Water and the Rev. James Grubb. The sale of the shoes will provide funds for volunteer mission teams to drill wells, repair churches and provide educational materials in Kenya.

The youths processed the shoes before bagging them for donation. The event included live music, games and volleyball.

Clover A.M.E. plans gospel program

Clover A.M.E. Zion Church, 750 King Mountain Highway, Clover, will host a 4 Gospel program at 3 p.m. April 26. Speakers are the Revs. Gwen Miller, Susan Evans, Chinetta Oates and Bryant Starnes.

Graham Library Ladies Tea and Tour

The Billy Graham Library has several events scheduled:

▪ 1-3 p.m. April 25: Book signing with David and Jason Benham, who will sign copies of their new book, “Whatever the Cost.”

▪ 8 a.m. May 8-9: Mother’s Day Breakfast and Tour. Families are invited to treat mom to a breakfast buffet followed by a guided Journey of Faith tour. Each mother receives a gift. Breakfast is served at 7:30 a.m. each day, with the event running through 10 a.m. Reservations and payment are required by May 7. Tickets cost $20 per person, 3 and younger get in free.
