Donations wanted for Honduran children’s home
Clover High School students J.D. Davidson, 16, and Christos Karamitros, 17, are traveling June 20 to a children’s home in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
The home offers education and housing to orphans. River Hills Community Church is collecting Spanish-English dictionaries, soccer balls and toothbrushes for the students to distribute. Donations will be accepted through June 19.
Clover AME Zion plans Bible school
Clover AME Zion Church, Kings Mountain Highway, Clover, will have vacation Bible school at 6:30 p.m. June 15-17 with New Loves Chapel and Zoah AME churches.
Abiding Presence plans yard sale
Abiding Presence Lutheran Church, North Congress Street, York, will have a yard sale from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. June 13 with furniture, electronics, tools, toys, clothes, plants and yard accessories.
Fishing Creek Baptist plans Bible school
Fishing Creek Baptist Church 1220 Springlake Road, York, will have vacation Bible school from 6 to 8 p.m. June 15-19. Classes for all age groups will be provided.
Family and Friends Day will be at 11 a.m. June 14.
Liberty Baptist plans film screening
Liberty Baptist Church, York, will have an advance screening of JCFilm’s “One Church,” at 6 p.m. June 20 with Jessica Lynch, who appears in the film, and singer Holly Spears. The event is free to the public.
New Beginnings plans fundraiser
New Beginnings Baptist Church, Old North Main Street, Clover, will have a fashion show fundraiser for the Lighthouse Thrift Store at 6 p.m. June 20.

Wilson Chapel plans missionary program
Wilson Chapel AME Zion Church, 4080 Wilson Chapel Road, Sharon, will have Missionary Program at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, June 14.
Beersheba Presbyterian plans joint Bible school
Beersheba Presbyterian Church, 130 S. Beersheba Road, Clover, will host vacation Bible school with Ramah Presbyterian Church from 6 to 8:30 p.m. June 14-19.
The theme will be G Force – God’s Love In Action. Children ages 3 and older are welcome. A light meal will be served each evening at 6 p.m.
Bible study opens registration
Community Bible Study – an international, interdenominational, in-depth Bible study –meets at 9 a.m. Wednesdays beginning Sept. 16 at River Hills Community Church.
The study is for women and their children through high school age.
The study is not affiliated with a church. All communities, churches, backgrounds, ages and levels of Bible knowledge are welcome.
The 30 week study of Daniel and Revelation costs $25 for adults and $10 for children, and includes lesson books.

Community Cafe serves lunch Tuesdays
The Community Cafe offers free weekly lunches 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesdays at Lake Wylie Christian Assembly.
The Cafe at Lake Wylie Lutheran Church in Fort Mill serves lunch 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Fridays.
