Clover High School anglers finish first in Lake Hartwell tournament
Clover High School bass fishing teammates Tanner Maness and Britt Myers finished in first place Oct. 10 in their second tournament ever at the Palmetto Boat Center High School Tournament Trail on Lake Hartwell.
Their total weight was 13.83 pounds. Maness and Myers, both sophomores, competed in a field of 101 teams.
They headed to Lake Wateree Oct. 24 to compete in the South Florence Open Fishing Tournament, a B.A.S.S. sanctioned high school points tournament. The anglers earn points toward the May championship.
