Yorkville Historical Society postpones Saturday’s ‘Stories of the Stones’

The Yorkville Historical Society has postponed its Saturday tour of Rose Hill Cemetery, “Stories of the Stones,” due to rainy weather.

The tentative new date is 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21 at the historic cemetery on East Liberty Street in downtown York.

Reenactors and storytellers in costume tell the stories of some of those who rest in the cemetery.

Admission is $5 and children in grades one to 12 are free.
