York Reds win Clover championship

The York Reds won the Clover fall minor league championship. The York Reds won the Clover fall minor league championship Nov. 11 at Clover Community Park.

The York team’s regular season record was 7-2-1 and the Reds defeated the Clover Gamecocks with a score of 3-1. The Clover Gamecocks had a 10-0 season record.

Eleven teams were in the league. Two teams were from York, four from Clover, one from Newport and four from Lake Wylie.
